If you are starting from the center of Cicero, head to the nearest bus stop for the Pace bus route. Take the Pace bus that travels northbound towards the 54th Avenue station. After about 15 minutes, you will need to transfer to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line. Get off at the Kedzie station and transfer to the CTA bus route 270, which goes towards the Edgebrook area. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Forest Glen Avenue and Dempster Street. From there, it is a short walk to Forest Glen Woods, located at 5420 N Forest Glen Ave.

For those who prefer to walk, start at a central location in Cicero, such as the Cicero Community Center. Head north on Cicero Avenue until you reach the intersection with Dempster Street. At this point, turn east and continue walking along Dempster for about 2 miles until you reach Forest Glen Avenue. Turn north on Forest Glen Avenue, and you will find Forest Glen Woods at 5420 N Forest Glen Ave after a few blocks.
