  • Public Transit - Bus

    From anywhere in Cicero, locate the nearest bus stop for the PACE bus system. You can take the PACE Bus Route 75 or Route 27 to connect to the CTA 'Pink Line' at the Kedzie station. Board the Pink Line train towards 54th/Cermak. Get off at the 18th station and transfer to the Orange Line at the 18th stop towards Midway. After one stop, get off at the Damen station. From there, transfer to the Blue Line train towards O'Hare. Ride the Blue Line for about 5 stops until you reach the Washington station. Exit the train and walk 4 blocks northeast to the intersection of E Erie St and N Wabash Ave. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left at 50 E Erie St.

    To get to the Richard H. Driehaus Museum, make your way to the nearest PACE bus stop and catch the bus heading towards the Orange Line at Pulaski station. Once at Pulaski, take the Orange Line towards Midway. Travel until you reach the Harold Washington Library station. From there, transfer to the Red Line towards Howard. Ride for 3 stops and get off at the Grand station. Exit the station and walk east on Grand Ave for about 3 blocks until you reach N State St. Turn left and head north for 2 blocks. Then turn right onto E Erie St. The museum will be on your right at 50 E Erie St.

    If you are in the vicinity of Cicero and prefer to walk to the museum, begin at the Cicero Community Park located at 34th St and Cicero Ave. Head east on 34th St towards Central Park Ave. Continue walking until you reach Kedzie Ave. From there, head north towards the Kedzie Pink Line station. Once you reach the station, board the Pink Line towards 54th/Cermak and follow the instructions from the bus route above.
