Public Bus
From Cicero, walk to the nearest bus stop along Cermak Road and catch the #X49 bus heading east. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once you arrive, exit the bus and follow the signs to the 'Metra' trains. Take the Metra train towards Chicago Union Station. At Union Station, transfer to the 'Blue Line' subway heading towards O'Hare. Get off at the 'Clark/Lake' station and transfer to the 'Brown Line'. After that, get off at the 'Washington/Wells' station. From there, you can walk east to Michigan Ave, and then walk north for about 10 minutes to reach Tribune Tower at 435 Michigan Ave.

Head to the nearest Metra station in Cicero, which is the Cicero station. Purchase a ticket to Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and walk to the 'Clark/Lake' subway station. Take the 'Brown Line' subway towards Kimball and get off at the 'Washington/Wells' station. From there, walk east towards Michigan Ave, then walk north for about 10 minutes to reach Tribune Tower at 435 Michigan Ave.
