Public Transport
To get to Wicker Park in Chicago from Cicero, first, make your way to the nearest CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) bus stop. Depending on your location in Cicero, you can catch the #54 Cicero bus heading north towards the Kedzie station. Ride the bus until you reach the Kedzie Green Line station. Once there, board the Green Line train heading towards Ashland. Stay on the train until you reach the Western station. At Western, transfer to the #49 Western bus. Ride this bus north until you reach Wicker Park. The park is located at the intersection of North Avenue and Damen Avenue. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the park entrance.

If you are near the Cicero Avenue area, you can walk to Wicker Park. Head east on 18th Street towards Kedzie Avenue. Once you reach Kedzie Avenue, turn left and walk north until you reach North Avenue. At North Avenue, turn right and continue walking east. Wicker Park will be on your left at the intersection with Damen Avenue. This is a longer walk but allows you to see more of the local neighborhoods.
