Continue on I-39 S for about 4 miles, then take exit 54 for IL-178 S. Follow IL-178 S for about 3 miles until you reach Matthiessen State Park at 2500 IL-178, Oglesby, IL 61348. There is no entrance fee for the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees if applicable.
