From any location in Corn Belt, Illinois, start by heading south on the nearest main road towards Route 13. Once on Route 13, continue driving for approximately 30 miles. As you approach Herod, IL, look for signs directing you to the Garden of the Gods Recreation Area. Turn onto Garden of the Gods Road, which will take you directly to the entrance of the park. The total driving time should be around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking at the Garden of the Gods is free.

Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to Garden of the Gods from Corn Belt. However, you can take a bus from the nearest city with bus services, such as Carbondale. First, travel to Carbondale via Greyhound or another local bus service. From Carbondale, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining 20 miles to Garden of the Gods.
