The bus will take you directly to Volo Village Rd, where you can disembark at the stop closest to the Volo Museum. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the times, as service may vary.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Elgin. Start at the Fox River Trail, heading north from downtown Elgin. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Route 20. Turn east on Route 20 and continue until you reach Volo Village Rd. Turn north on Volo Village Rd, and the Volo Museum will be on your left.

Walking
If you're up for a long walk, start from the Elgin Riverwalk. Head northwest along the river until you reach the intersection with Highland Ave. Turn left on Highland Ave and continue on this road. After several blocks, take a right onto Route 20. Follow Route 20 until you reach Volo Village Rd. Turn north onto Volo Village Rd, and the Volo Museum will be on your left. This is a longer journey, so be prepared for a hike!
