From Fox Valley, get on IL-47 N from your location. Follow IL-47 N and merge onto I-88 W toward Aurora. Continue on I-88 W for about 10 miles, then take exit 120B to merge onto I-39 N toward Rockford. After approximately 40 miles, take exit 54 for IL-251 N toward La Salle. Continue on IL-251 N until you reach Oglesby. Once in Oglesby, follow the signs to Starved Rock State Park. The approximate driving time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Fox Valley, take the Metra train from your nearest station to the Aurora station. From Aurora station, transfer to the Amtrak service toward Chicago Union Station. Once you arrive at Chicago, take the Amtrak train to the La Salle station.
