Car
To reach the Jefferson County Historical Village from Grand Prairie, start by getting onto I-55 S from Grand Prairie. Follow I-55 S for about 50 miles. Take exit 40 toward IL-15 W/Mt Vernon. Merge onto IL-15 W and continue for approximately 20 miles. As you approach Mt. Vernon, take the exit toward N 27th St. Merge onto N 27th St, and the Jefferson County Historical Village will be located at 1411 N 27th St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864 on your right. Parking is available on-site.
