Driving
Arrow Rock is located 13 miles north of I-70 on Highway 41 in Saline County. From St. Louis, take I-70 west to Exit 98 and follow Highway 41 North. From Kansas City, take I-70 east to Exit 89 and follow the signs to Arrow Rock State Park and Highway 41 North. Parking is available throughout the village, with additional parking at the Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center. Parking is free. Be aware that during special events, parking may be limited.

Once you're in the village of Arrow Rock, the best way to explore the historic district is on foot. The village is compact and walkable, with most attractions located within a few blocks of Main Street. From the J. Huston Tavern, you can easily walk to the Old Courthouse, the George Caleb Bingham House, and other historic buildings. The Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center is a short walk south of Main Street on Highway 41. Downloadable walking tour maps are available to help guide your exploration.
