    Mississippi Palisades State Park is located approximately 3 miles north of Savanna, Illinois, on Illinois Route 84. From Savanna, head north on IL-84 for about 3 miles. The park entrance will be on your left. Parking is available within the park. Limited parking can be an obstacle during peak season. Parking costs are free.

    From Savanna, walking to Mississippi Palisades State Park is possible but not recommended due to the distance (3 miles) and lack of dedicated pedestrian paths along IL-84. If you choose to walk, use extreme caution and be aware of traffic. There are no costs associated with walking.
