Continue on Clear Lake Ave and turn right onto S Spring St. The Illinois State Museum will be on your left at 502 S Spring St. There is no admission fee or parking fee at the museum.

    For public transportation, you can use the Greyhound bus service which offers routes to Springfield from various locations in Northern Illinois. Once you arrive at the Greyhound station in Springfield, you can walk to the Illinois State Museum, which is approximately 1 mile away. Head southeast on E Washington St towards S 4th St, turn left onto S 4th St, and then turn right onto E Capitol Ave. Finally, turn left onto S Spring St and the museum will be on your right.
