Public Transit
From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest Metra station, such as the Oak Lawn station on the Southwest Service Line. Board a train heading towards Chicago Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, transfer to the 'Blue Line' of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) by following the signs to the 'Blue Line' platform. Take the Blue Line train towards O'Hare and get off at the 'Damen' station. Once you exit the Damen station, walk north on Damen Avenue for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Wicker Park at 1425 N Damen Ave.
Bus
Start at a nearby bus stop in Oak Lawn and take the Pace bus route 349 towards the 'Harvey Transportation Center'. Ride the bus until you reach the '95th/Dan Ryan' station. From there, board the CTA Red Line train towards Howard. Change trains at the 'Washington/Wells' station and transfer to the 'Blue Line' towards O'Hare. Get off at the 'Damen' station. Walk north on Damen Avenue, and you will arrive at Wicker Park (1425 N Damen Ave) in about 10 minutes.
Walking/Biking
If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a long walk or bike ride, you can head north from Oak Lawn. Follow 95th Street west until you reach Cicero Avenue. Continue north on Cicero Avenue until you reach the 'Cicero' station on the Pink Line. Take the Pink Line train to the 'Western' station, then switch to the 'Blue Line' towards O'Hare and get off at 'Damen'. From there, walk north on Damen Avenue for about 10 minutes to reach Wicker Park at 1425 N Damen Ave.
