Getting There

• Train

  From Palatine Station, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago Union Station. Ensure you have a ticket before boarding. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk towards the Canal Street exit. From there, take the CTA 'L' train Brown Line at the Washington/Wells station in the direction of Kimball. Get off at the Merchandise Mart station. After exiting the station, walk north on Wells Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Brehon Pub at 731 N Wells St.

• Bus

  From the Palatine Metra Station, walk to the nearby bus stop and take the Pace Bus Route 696 towards the Arlington Heights Transportation Center. After about 20 minutes, transfer to Pace Bus Route 610 at the Arlington Heights stop and continue towards the Northwest Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the CTA Bus #37 towards the 'L' Blue Line. Get off at the Clark and Kinzie stop and walk 5 minutes north on Wells Street to reach Brehon Pub at 731 N Wells St.

• Walking

  If you are already in downtown Palatine, you can walk to the nearby Metra train station. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the center of Palatine. Once you reach the station, follow the train guidance above to reach Brehon Pub. Alternatively, if you are within walking distance of the pub, head east on Northwest Highway (US-14), then turn south on Wells Street. Continue walking for about 25 minutes until you reach Brehon Pub at 731 N Wells St.
