From anywhere in Palatine, walk to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St, Palatine, IL 60067. Once there, buy a ticket to Chicago Union Station. Board the Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest line towards Chicago. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby CTA 'L' trains located at the Washington/Wells station. Take the Blue Line train towards O'Hare. Ride for about 5 stops (approximately 15 minutes) until you reach the Damen station. Exit the train and head south on Damen Ave for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Leavitt St. Continue walking for 0.3 miles and you will reach Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral at 1121 N Leavitt St.
