From River Bend, head south on IL-2 S for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 81 for IL-178 toward Oglesby. Turn left onto IL-178 N and follow the road for about 5 miles. Matthiessen State Park will be on your right at 2500 IL-178, Oglesby, IL 61348. Make sure to check for any parking fees, as there may be a small fee for parking.
