To reach Red Oak Nature Center by car, start from the center of Rock River Valley. Head north on IL-25 N (North River Road). Continue straight for approximately 15 miles until you reach North Aurora. The center will be located on your right at 930 N River Rd, North Aurora, IL 60542. There is free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you are taking public transportation, first check the local bus schedules to find a route that takes you to Aurora. Once in Aurora, transfer to the PACE bus route 530, which will take you close to North Aurora. Get off at the nearest stop to 930 N River Rd. From there, it is a short walk to the center. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as service may vary.

Once you disembark from the bus, walk east on W. Galena Blvd for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto N River Rd. Continue walking for another 0.3 miles, and you will reach Red Oak Nature Center at 930 N River Rd. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk may take approximately 15-20 minutes.
