    From Schaumburg, head to the nearest bus stop on Woodfield Road. Take the Pace Bus Route 600 toward the Rosemont Transit Center. Transfer at the Rosemont Transit Center to the Blue Line train toward Forest Park. Ride the train until you reach the Washington station. From there, take the Red Line train toward 95th/Dan Ryan and get off at the 47th station. Exit the station and walk east on 47th Street until you reach S Dusable Lake Shore Drive, then turn left and walk north. Promontory Point will be on your right.

Get off at the Washington station, then switch to the Red Line train toward 95th/Dan Ryan and get off at the 47th station. Follow 47th Street east until you reach S Dusable Lake Shore Drive, then walk north to Promontory Point.
