Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Evanston. Board the train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago to the Union Pacific North Line. Continue on this train for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the Central Street Station in Evanston. From there, exit the station and walk east towards Sheridan Rd. Turn right on Sheridan Rd, and Grosse Point Lighthouse will be about a 15-minute walk north at 2601 Sheridan Rd.

Take the bus heading towards the Village of Arlington Heights and transfer at the Arlington Heights Metra Station. From there, board the Metra train on the Union Pacific North Line towards Chicago.
