Walking
If you are starting from Evanston's downtown area, head west on Church Street until you reach Sheridan Road. Turn left (south) and walk along Sheridan Road until you reach the intersection with Central Street. Cross at the light and continue walking south along Sheridan Road. After a few blocks, you will come to the intersection with Tech Drive. Turn left onto Tech Drive, and continue walking until you reach the Dearborn Observatory located at 2131 Tech Dr. The observatory is situated on the Northwestern University campus, and you will see signs directing you towards the observatory.

Public Transit - Bus
From Evanston's downtown area, walk to the nearest bus stop on Davis Street. Take the Pace bus route 250 or 201 heading towards 'Central Station' or 'Harlem'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Central Street and Sheridan Road. From there, walk south on Sheridan Road until you reach Tech Drive, then turn left onto Tech Drive and walk until you reach Dearborn Observatory at 2131 Tech Dr.
