    From Illinois Route 3, turn east onto Muddy Levee Road, then north onto LaRue Road. Turn right onto Pine Hills Road; the lower trailhead is on the right in about 0.4 miles, and the upper trailhead is about 0.6 miles further up Pine Hills Road. Parking is available in small lots at both trailheads. Be aware that the parking can be tricky due to the slant of the lots. There are no fees for parking or access.
