Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're near downtown Springfield, you can catch the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) bus route 12, which travels towards Central Avenue. Board the bus at any downtown bus stop, and ride until you reach the stop at Central Avenue and 12th Street. From there, walk north on 12th Street for about 3 blocks until you reach the Coliseum at 12 Central Ave.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available around downtown. Head north on 5th Street until you reach Central Avenue. Turn right onto Central Avenue and continue for about 5 blocks until you arrive at the Coliseum, located at 12 Central Ave.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance from the downtown area, head east on Monroe Street until you reach 12th Street. Turn left (north) on 12th Street and walk for approximately 10-15 minutes. The Coliseum will be on your right at 12 Central Ave.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft, or simply hail a taxi. Provide the driver with the address: 12 Central Ave, Springfield, IL 62702. This is a convenient option if you are carrying luggage or prefer not to walk.
