Knight's Action Park: A Family-Friendly Adventure in Springfield

Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you are starting from downtown Springfield, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Route 10 bus heading towards South 11th Street. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop located at South 11th Street and East Clear Lake Avenue. From there, you will need to walk roughly 0.8 miles. Head south on South 11th Street until you reach East Clear Lake Avenue. Turn left onto East Clear Lake Avenue, and then take another left onto Knights Recreation Drive. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will see Knight's Action Park on your left at 1700 Knights Recreation Dr.

• Bicycle

  From downtown Springfield, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike rental service. Start cycling south on South 5th Street towards East Clear Lake Avenue. Once you reach East Clear Lake Avenue, turn right and continue cycling until you reach South 11th Street. Turn left onto South 11th Street, and then make a right onto Knights Recreation Drive. Follow Knights Recreation Drive for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Knight's Action Park on your left at 1700 Knights Recreation Dr.

  If you are close to the Illinois State Capitol, you can walk to Knight's Action Park. Start by heading west on East Capitol Avenue toward South 6th Street. Turn left onto South 6th Street and continue until you reach East Clear Lake Avenue. Turn right onto East Clear Lake Avenue and walk until you reach South 11th Street. Turn left onto South 11th Street, and then make a right onto Knights Recreation Drive. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles, and you will see Knight's Action Park on your left at 1700 Knights Recreation Dr.
