Public Transport
To reach Selvaggio Historic Arches via public transportation, you can take the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) bus. From downtown Springfield, board Bus 1 or 2. Ride until you reach the stop closest to S 6th St and E Monroe St. From there, it's a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the arches. Check the SMTD schedule for the most accurate arrival times. A single ride fare is approximately $1.
Walking
From the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, head south on 6th Street for approximately 2.5 miles. The Selvaggio Historic Arches will be on your right, at the intersection with W Clear Lake Ave. The walk is about 50 minutes.
Car
If you're driving, head towards Springfield, IL. From I-55, take exit 92A onto Clear Lake Ave (IL-54 W). Continue on Clear Lake Ave for about 3.5 miles. Turn left onto S 6th St, and after about 0.5 miles, you'll see the Selvaggio Historic Arches on your right at the intersection with E Monroe St. Parking is available on nearby streets. Street parking is free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and free all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
