Walking
From the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in downtown Springfield, head west on E Washington St towards S 6th St. Continue onto W Washington St for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto S Grand Ave W. Walk for approximately 0.2 miles. Washington Park will be on your right. This walk is approximately 2 miles and should take about 35-40 minutes.

From the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) Transfer Center at 11th and Washington Streets, several bus routes serve areas near Washington Park.
