Getting There

• Car

Follow signs for I-90 W/I-94 W, and merge onto the freeway. Continue on I-90 W/I-94 W for about 5 miles and take the exit for Division St. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Ogden Ave, and merge onto W Division St. Turn left onto S Sangamon St, and you will find the Illinois State Historical Marker at 105 S Sangamon St, Chicago, IL 60607. Note that parking in Chicago may incur fees, typically ranging from $2 to $4 per hour.

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound or Megabus from your location in Western Illinois to Chicago. The fare typically ranges from $20 to $50, depending on how far in advance you book your ticket. Once you arrive at the bus station in Chicago, you can take the CTA Blue Line from the Damen Station (a short walk from the bus station) towards O'Hare. Get off at the Illinois Medical District stop.
