If you're in the heart of River North, you can easily reach the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Bridge by walking. Start at the intersection of Ontario Street and Wells Street. Head north on Wells Street until you reach the intersection with Kinzie Street. Turn left (west) onto Kinzie Street. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles (approximately 8-10 minutes). The bridge will be on your right, just past the intersection with the Chicago River. Look for the historic structure that spans the river.

Public Transit - Bus
You can take the CTA bus to get close to the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Bridge. From any location in River North, find the nearest bus stop for the #37 Sedgwick bus. Board the bus heading towards the south. Get off at the 'Kinzie & Wells' stop. From there, it is a short walk west along Kinzie Street, approximately 0.2 miles (about 4-5 minutes), and the bridge will be on your right as you approach the river.

Public Transit - Train
If you prefer the train, head to the nearest 'Clark/Lake' station on the CTA Loop. Take the 'Brown Line' or 'Purple Line' towards Kimball or Linden, respectively. Get off at the 'Merchandise Mart' station. From there, exit the station and walk east along Kinzie Street for about 0.3 miles (approximately 6-7 minutes). The Chicago & Northwestern Railway Bridge will be on your left as you cross the Chicago River.
