Walking

From the Aizawl Municipal Corporation area (near the main market), head south on Zarkawt Road towards Tanhril Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Tanhril Road. Turn left onto Tanhril Road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers; you will pass through some local shops and residences. The road will become steeper as you ascend. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach Tanhril View, located on the left side of the road. Walking is free, but the ascent can be challenging.

Begin your journey from the Aizawl Bus Station, where you can find local buses heading towards Tanhril. Board a bus that indicates it goes to Tanhril or surrounding areas. The bus ride will take roughly 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Request the driver to drop you off at the Tanhril stop. From the Tanhril bus stop, walk along Tanhril Road for about 15 minutes to arrive at Tanhril View, which will be on your left. Bus fares within Aizawl typically range from ₹10-₹20.
