Walking
Amar Jyoti is located near Mehra Guest House on Golden Temple Road, adjacent to Jallianwala Bagh. From the main entrance of Jallianwala Bagh, walk towards the central garden area and memorials. Continue straight until you reach the exit gate of Jallianwala Bagh. Once outside, turn right onto Golden Temple Road. Walk approximately 200 meters, and Amar Jyoti will be on your left. There is no entrance fee to Amar Jyoti.
Public Transport
From Amritsar Bus Stand, take a local bus towards the Golden Temple. The bus will drop you near the Golden Temple, from where you can walk or take a short auto-rickshaw ride to Jallianwala Bagh and then proceed to Amar Jyoti. The bus fare is approximately ₹15-₹20. Alternatively, free bus service is available from the bus stand to the Golden Temple. From there, follow the walking directions. Auto rickshaws are readily available from the Golden Temple to Amar Jyoti for around ₹30-₹50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Ola are readily available in Amritsar. From anywhere in Amritsar, book a ride to Amar Jyoti, located on Golden Temple Road near Jallianwala Bagh. A short taxi ride from the Amritsar Railway Station or the airport will cost approximately ₹150-₹300, depending on the distance and traffic. Parking is available near the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, but it can be limited. Expect to pay around ₹50-₹100 for parking.
