Joshimath is accessible by road from major cities in Uttarakhand, including Rishikesh and Haridwar. From Rishikesh, it is approximately a 9-10 hour drive. You can hire a taxi or take a bus to Joshimath. Once in Joshimath, the ropeway station is located in the heart of the town. From the bus stand or taxi drop-off point, it is a short walk or rickshaw ride to the ropeway station. Taxis and rickshaws are readily available and cost approximately ₹50-₹100 for a short trip within Joshimath.

    Upon arrival at the Joshimath ropeway station, purchase your tickets for the Auli Ropeway. A round trip ticket costs ₹1000 for adults and ₹500 for children (below 12 years).
