The complex boasts 18 galleries, 13 of which house permanent collections encompassing paintings, sculptures, and folk art. Visitors can explore a wide array of artistic expressions, from traditional Mysore paintings and leather puppets to modern and contemporary works. The Roerich Gallery is a major draw, displaying the works of Nicholas Roerich and his son Svetoslav Roerich, both celebrated Russian artists who dedicated their lives to studying the Himalayas. Their paintings capture the majestic landscapes, vibrant cultures, and spiritual essence of the Himalayan region. The collection also includes portraits of iconic figures like Jawaharlal Nehru, Rabindranath Tagore, Mahatma Gandhi, and Indira Gandhi, painted by Svetoslav Roerich.
