Public Transport
From Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic), take a BMTC bus towards Bengaluru Palace. Several buses ply this route, with fares ranging from ₹30 to ₹100 depending on the type of bus. Alternatively, take the metro to Mantri Mall Malleshwaram, which is 4 km away from the Palace, and then take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to the palace. Metro fares range from ₹10-₹90 depending on the distance traveled. Auto-rickshaw fares from Mantri Mall to the palace will be approximately ₹200.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Bengaluru City Railway Station, taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available. A ride to Bengaluru Palace will cost approximately ₹250-₹400, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. App-based aggregators may charge higher, particularly during peak hours. Be aware that some drivers may not use meters and may quote a fixed price.
Walking
From Cubbon Park, head north-west. The walk is approximately 4.5 km and should take about an hour. Use a map app for directions, following the main roads. This is a free option, allowing you to see more of the city along the way.
