From Raipur, take a bus to Mahasamund. From the Mahasamund bus stand, local buses are available to Saraipali or Basna every 30 minutes. Alight near Kauwajhar and hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to Kodar Dam, roughly 5 km away. Bus fare from Raipur to Mahasamund ranges from ₹150-₹300 , and the auto-rickshaw fare may cost around ₹100-₹200.
