According to local folklore, the idol of Banjari Mata was discovered in a farmer's field, leading to the temple's establishment. While the temple's history isn't chronicled in detail, its legacy of faith has been passed down through generations. Some claim the idol of the mother Bagalamukhi in the sanctum sanctorum of this temple, was obtained from the nearby forest. There are two stories in relation to the idol. According to the first story of which – its history is 800 years old. Here, the idol of Mother on a barren land was manifested and kept in a subtle form. After which a Banjara was noticed on this idol and he told the head of the village about this statue and built a temple here. The temple's architecture reflects traditional Hindu styles, featuring intricate carvings and a vibrant atmosphere. The temple complex includes shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Lord Ram, Ganesh, and Hanuman, offering a complete spiritual experience. The temple is especially vibrant during festivals like Navratri and Dussehra, when it is vividly decorated and special puja ceremonies are held.
