Walking
From Ghoom Railway Station, the monastery is within easy walking distance. Exit the station and walk along the main road; the monastery will be a short distance away on Ghoom Monastery Road.
Public Transport
From Darjeeling, take the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) to Ghoom. The train journey offers scenic views of the hills and valleys. From Ghoom station, the monastery is a short walk away. Toy Train tickets range from ₹28-₹700.
Taxi
Taxis and shared jeeps are readily available from Darjeeling to Ghoom Monastery. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. A taxi from Darjeeling to Ghoom typically costs ₹250-₹310. Shared jeeps are a more economical option.
