From the center of Darjeeling, start at Mall Road, a popular pedestrian area. Head towards the Chowrasta, the main square. From Chowrasta, take the road leading down towards the Darjeeling Railway Station. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hill Cart Road. Turn left onto Hill Cart Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Look for the sign that indicates Batasia Eco Garden. After a short walk, you will reach the entrance of Batasia Eco Garden.

Public Transport (Shared Jeep)
From Chowrasta, walk to the nearest shared jeep stand located near the Darjeeling Railway Station (about a 10-minute walk). Board a shared jeep heading towards Ghum. The fare is usually around 20-30 INR. Inform the driver to drop you off at Batasia Eco Garden. The journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the location, simply follow the signs to the entrance of Batasia Eco Garden.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Darjeeling. Start at Chowrasta and take the Hill Cart Road towards Ghum. The route is approximately 1.5 kilometers long and is slightly uphill. Be cautious of traffic and make sure to wear a helmet. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Upon reaching the Batasia Eco Garden, lock your bicycle at the designated area and enjoy the garden's attractions.
