Walking
From the main market area of Darjeeling, head towards the Chowrasta (the popular promenade). Walk down the Mall Road until you reach the North Point School. From there, take the road leading to the West Point area. Continue straight on this road, passing the Darjeeling Government College. After a short distance, you will see signs directing you towards Dali Monastery. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at the monastery in approximately 20-30 minutes.
Public Transport
Start at Chowrasta and head towards the taxi stand located on the Mall Road. Look for shared taxis or jeeps that are heading towards Ghoom or Dali. Make sure to mention 'Dali Monastery' to the driver. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the drop-off point near Dali Monastery, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
