Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Darjeeling Mall (Chowrasta), head down the Mall road towards Gandhi Road. Walk straight until you reach the junction where you see the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) station. From there, take a right onto Nehru Road. Continue walking along Nehru Road for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the junction of the road leading to the Peace Pagoda. Follow the signs for Peace Pagoda, which will direct you along a slight uphill path. The pagoda is located at the top of the hill, and the walk will take approximately 30 minutes in total.

  • Rickshaw

    From Darjeeling Mall (Chowrasta), you can hire a shared or private rickshaw to take you to the Peace Pagoda. Ask the driver to take you to 'Buddhist Temple' or 'Peace Pagoda' which is a well-known destination. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the designated drop-off point, you may need to walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach the actual pagoda, following the signs.
