Walking
If you are starting from Darjeeling Mall, walk towards Gandhi Road. Continue down Gandhi Road until you reach the intersection with the Chowrasta. From Chowrasta, follow the road signs to Ghoom. The walk is approximately 7 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the hills and tea gardens.
Public Transport (Toy Train)
From Darjeeling, head to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway station. Purchase a ticket for the toy train to Ghoom. The train ride is scenic and takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghoom station, exit and walk towards the museum for about 500 meters. The museum should be well-signposted.
Shared Taxi
Head to the nearest shared taxi stand in Darjeeling, such as the one near Chowrasta. Look for taxis heading towards Ghoom. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, and the fare is shared among passengers. Once you arrive in Ghoom, ask the driver to drop you off at the Ghoom museum or follow the signs since it's a well-known location.
