Begin your journey at any metro station in Delhi. Take the Yellow Line (Line 2) towards Huda City Centre and disembark at Chandni Chowk station. From Chandni Chowk, exit the station and walk towards the Red Fort, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. As you get closer, you will see the entrance to the Red Fort. Mumtaz Mahal is located within the premises of the Red Fort.
Rickshaw
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take an auto-rickshaw from your location in Delhi to the Red Fort area. Simply tell the driver 'Red Fort' or show them the address: M63V+R93, Red Fort, Old Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110006. The ride will typically take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, enter the Red Fort complex, and Mumtaz Mahal is located inside.
Bus
Check the local bus routes for service to the Red Fort area. Buses such as the 100, 104, or 12A will take you to Chandni Chowk. Once you get off at the bus stop, walk towards the Red Fort, which should be visible from the bus stop. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the stop to the entrance of the Red Fort where Mumtaz Mahal is located.
