If driving from Ranchi, take NH43 towards Jamshedpur. After about 60 km, turn onto the road towards Chandil (NH18). Follow the signs for approximately 30 km to reach Chandil Dam in Gangudih. The drive takes 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Parking is available at the dam for ₹30 for four-wheelers.
