    From Darjeeling town center (Chowrasta Mall), the monastery is approximately 3.3 km away. The walk takes about an hour, offering scenic views along the Hill Cart Road. Be prepared for an uphill walk. As you walk along Hill Cart Road, the monastery will be on your left, perched on a cliff.

    Shared taxis are available from Darjeeling Chowk Bazaar to Dali Monastery. The shared taxi will drop you off on Hill Cart Road, from where you will have to walk up to the monastery. Confirm the fare with the driver before boarding; expect to pay around ₹45 for a shared taxi to locations along this route.
