Taxi

From Goa International Airport (Dabolim), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Velsao Beach. The ride typically takes around 15 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 12 km. Expect to pay between ₹500 to ₹600 for the trip. Pre-paid taxis are available at the airport.

Public Transport

If arriving at Madgaon Railway Station, take a bus from Margao KTC Bus Stand to Mudder. Buses depart hourly and the journey takes about 18 minutes. The bus fare is approximately ₹17-₹21. From Mudder, Velsao Beach is a short walk away. Alternatively, hire an auto-rickshaw from the railway station for around ₹200-₹300.

The beach is also a spot for birdwatching, attracting various migratory and resident birds. Nearby attractions include Cansaulim Beach, the Three Kings Chapel, and other beaches along the Goan coastline.
