The Goa Science Centre & Planetarium in Panaji is an interactive science museum and planetarium. It offers engaging exhibits, planetarium shows, and 3D films, making science fun for all ages. It's a joint project of the National Council of Science Museums and Goa's Department of Science, Technology & Environment, located near Miramar Beach.

Public Transport

From Panaji Bus Stand, take a local bus towards Miramar. Get off at the Miramar stop, and walk towards the Science Centre, which is about 300 meters from Miramar Circle. Bus fares are generally affordable.

Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available from Panaji and nearby locations. Inform the driver to take you to the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium at Miramar Beach. A taxi from Panaji to the Science Centre will cost approximately ₹200-₹400. Auto-rickshaws may be slightly cheaper, around ₹150-₹300.

The Goa Science Center is located right on Miramar Beach, just 300m from Miramar Circle on Dr. Jack De Sequira (Miramar-Dona Paula) Road. From Miramar Beach, it's a short walk along the road to the center.

Located in Miramar, Panaji, the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium is a captivating destination blending education and entertainment. Established in 2001, this center aims to cultivate a scientific temper and popularize science among the general public, especially young minds. The center features interactive exhibits, thematic galleries like "Science of Oceans" and "Fun Science", and a science park with hands-on displays demonstrating physics principles. The planetarium offers shows using full-dome projection technology, providing clear views of celestial objects, while the 3D theatre offers immersive science experiences. Visitors can also explore a mirror gallery and exhibits related to Goan culture.Programs include science quizzes, seminars, and workshops. The Zenith Cyberlab offers IT awareness programs. The center also has a 140-seat air-conditioned auditorium for seminars and film shows. The Goa Science Centre is a unique place for families, tourists and science enthusiasts.
