Taxis are readily available in Gulmarg. A short taxi ride to the Gondola base station from anywhere in Gulmarg will typically cost between Rs 900 to Rs 1500 for a trip around the town. Agree on the fare before starting your journey.

From Srinagar, take a local bus or shared taxi to Gulmarg. Once in Gulmarg, the Gondola base station is easily accessible by walking or hiring a local taxi. Bus and shared taxi fares from Srinagar to Gulmarg vary, but typically range from Rs 100-300. Auto-rickshaws are also available for shorter distances within Gulmarg.

The Gulmarg Gondola operates in two phases. Purchase tickets online at jammukashmircablecar.com or at the ticket counter. Phase 1 (Gulmarg to Kongdoori) costs Rs 810. Phase 2 (Kongdoori to Apharwat) costs Rs 1010. A chairlift from Kongdoori to Mary's Shoulder costs an additional Rs 300. The Gondola operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to weather conditions. Be prepared for security checks and potential queues.
