The Gulmarg Gondola is a must-experience attraction in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, renowned as one of the highest and longest cable car projects in Asia. This two-stage gondola lift carries approximately 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of the nearby Apharwat Peak. The first phase ascends from Gulmarg at 2,650 meters (8,694 ft) to Kongdoori Station at 3,100 meters (10,167 ft). The second phase continues to a height of 3,980 meters (13,058 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, near Apharwat Peak. From this height, the views are even more spectacular, and in winter, the slopes offer excellent skiing opportunities.
