To reach Elephant Rock using public transport, start from the Virupaksha Temple area where you can find local auto-rickshaws. Negotiate with the driver for a ride to Anegundi, informing them you want to visit Elephant Rock. The drive will take around 15-20 minutes and should cost around INR 300-400. The driver may drop you off at the entrance of a road leading to the rock, from where you might need to walk about 1 kilometer along a dirt path.

Bicycle

For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is an excellent way to reach Elephant Rock. You can rent a bicycle from various shops in Hampi for about INR 100-200 per day. Head out from the center of Hampi towards Anegundi, following the same route as described for cars. The distance is approximately 6 kilometers, and it will take around 30-40 minutes of cycling.
