Walking
From Sanapur village bus stop, it's approximately a 1km walk to Sanapur Lake. Follow the road heading away from the main road, and the lake will appear on your right. The walk is relatively easy and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transport
From Hampi, take a local bus towards Sanapur. The bus fare is around INR 20-30. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Sanapur village. From the bus stop, it is a 1km walk to the lake. Buses are available from Virupapur Gaddi or Anegundi to reach Sanapur village.
Taxi/Auto-rickshaw
Hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw from Hampi to Sanapur Lake. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes and costs between INR 300-500, depending on negotiation. Alternatively, from Hospet, an auto-rickshaw to Sanapur Lake costs around INR 100-150.
Bicycle/Scooter
Rent a bicycle or scooter from Hampi or Virupapur Gaddi. Follow the main road towards Hospet and take the turn towards Sanapur. The distance from Hampi is approximately 10 km and takes about 1 hour by bicycle. Parking is available near the lake.
