Auto-Rickshaw
From Hampi Bazaar, hire an auto-rickshaw to Talwar Gatta Ferry Point. Most drivers know the location. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around ₹200-₹300. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Hampi bus stand towards Hospet. Get off at the Talwar Gatta stop, about 8 km from Hampi; the bus fare is around ₹30. From there, hire a local auto-rickshaw to the ferry point for about ₹50-₹100.
Ferry
From Virupaksha Temple, walk or take a short auto-rickshaw ride to the Hampi Ferry Point near the river. The ferry crossing to the Anegundi side costs ₹50 per person. Note that there may be extra charges for luggage or bikes. The ferry operates from approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but timings can vary.
