Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Hampi Bazaar area. Navigate towards the Big Monolithic Bull (Nandi) statue, which is a well-known landmark. From there, look for the road that leads up to Matanga Betta. The road may be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the base of the hill. The hike to Sunrise Sunset Point from here takes about 30 minutes. Follow the clearly marked trail up to the viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of the sunrise or sunset.
Public Transportation
To reach Sunrise Sunset Point via public transportation, start at the Hampi bus stand. Take a local auto-rickshaw or a taxi to the Big Monolithic Bull (Nandi) statue, which is approximately 3 km away. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around ₹50-100, depending on your negotiation skills. Once you reach the statue, follow the road up to Matanga Betta. You may need to walk the remaining distance (about 1 km) to the viewpoint. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water with you, as the trail can be steep.
Walking
If you are staying close to the Hampi Bazaar, consider walking to the Sunrise Sunset Point. Start at the Hampi Bazaar and head towards the Big Monolithic Bull statue.
